Meztli Treasures

Hello! I'm Audrey, a French expat living in the Netherlands, passionate about jewelry and gemstones. I started making jewelry in 2010. I put jewelry making aside in 2016, in favor of other hobbies. In recent years, I've developed allergies to earrings. So, I wanted to be able to wear earrings that wouldn't cause allergies, and I started researching hypoallergenic materials. I'd always been drawn to polymer clay, but never dared to try it. I finally started in 2024. In 2025, I decided to combine my love for gemstones and polymer clay to create a line of jewelry with a strong pre-Columbian inspiration. I am very inspired by the deeply ethnic and assertive style of Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, Aztec and Mayan tribal jewelry. So I opened my micro-business and my small shop, Meztli Treasures, to share unique creations with you. Why Meztli Treasures? In Aztec mythology, Meztli is the goddess of the moon. Treasures is for treasures, objects to cherish. My jewelry is designed to limit the risk of allergies. I want to give women (and sometimes men) the opportunity to assert themselves through their style by offering them bold and unique jewelry.
