Welcome to Meztli Treasures! We’re a small handmade jewelry business based in the Netherlands, and every piece is made with care and soul. These Terms and Conditions explain how our shop works and what you can expect when you place an order with us—whether through our Shopify website or our Etsy shop.

By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. General

• You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or guardian to make a purchase.

• We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.

• Continued use of our shop means you accept the updated Terms.

2. Products

The supplies used for our jewelry is carefully chosen and personally tested. 

We sell handmade jewelry. Because each item is handmade:

• Small variations in color, size, or design may occur

• Product photos are for reference and may look slightly different in real life

We do our best to describe and photograph each item as accurately as possible.

 

3. Prices and Payments

• All prices are listed in EUR and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise

• Payment is required in full before your order is processed

We accept payment through:

• Shopify Payments

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order if there is a pricing error or suspected fraud.

4. Shipping and Delivery

• Orders are usually processed within 5 business days.

• Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on location and shipping carrier

• We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services or customs

Once your order has been shipped, responsibility for the package transfers to you.

5. Returns & Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumer Law)

In accordance with EU consumer law, you have the right to return your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason.

Conditions for returns:

• Items must be unused, unworn, and in their original condition

• Items must be returned in original packaging

• Earrings or hygiene-sensitive items may not be returnable unless defective

• Proof of purchase is required

To request a return, please contact us at meztli.treasures@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery.

Return shipping costs:

• The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect

Refunds:

• Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund within 5 business days

• Refunds are issued to the original payment method

• Original shipping fees are non-refundable (unless required by law)

6. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

• Your order number

• Clear photos of the issue

We will gladly offer a replacement or refund.

7. Custom or Personalized Orders

Custom or personalized jewelry is:

• Final sale

• Not eligible for return or refund unless faulty

8. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

• Use our website for unlawful purposes

• Attempt to interfere with or damage our website

• Provide false or misleading information

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and shop (including photos, designs, logos, and text) belongs to Meztli Treasures and may not be copied or used without our written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meztli Treasures is not liable for indirect or consequential damages related to the use of our products or website.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product.

11. Privacy

Your personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy and in compliance with GDPR (EU data protection laws).

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts of the Netherlands.
